TOP NEWS. Sparkle* and @BenIllustrator Collaboration! We’ve just teamed up with top illustrator Ben O’Brien to make his already very fluid illustrations come to life. We aim to work with Ben over the next couple of months, building his illustrations whilst retaining Ben’s amazing style. We’re really excited as its a great challenge and honour to work with such a great illustrator. Check out his fluid animals, they provide one massive punch of inspiration in one small hit!! So.. me and Steve we’re talking over the weekend and we decided as this is 2012, year of impending doom, we’ll sift through our digital waste bin and make a section on our website to give away all the bits of 3D models, Nuke Scripts, Realflow set ups, Rigs etc that we’ve never used.. and it’ll stay there until 21st December 2012, in which timer you can use them for what ever you feel fit. So… watch the space, we’ll have something in place by midweek.
FX SHOTS: today see’s the final few FX shots finished for a horror film we’ve been working on.. one less on the to do list for next week.

NEWS OF THE WEEK. We’ve been a little quiet recently… and all for good reason. This week saw the start a monumental project with Liverpool based Hurricane Films, although we can’t reveal too many details at the moment we can mention that the project will last 3 months and exist in Liverpool for the next 10 years!!, there’ll be a few Hard Days in the Sparkle* office as it all gets a little Helter Skelter.
More news on this project next week.
In other news we’ve just joined up with top DJ Futurebound to work on the post production for an Artist on his record Label (Viper Recordings), the video for artist Metrik was shot on location in London early last week and directed by Ryan Wheeler. Post production is expected to be complete by the 16th for release on the 18th November. Pick up the Departure EP HERE http://www.viperrecordings.co.uk/news/5148
Last week saw the completion of a fun viral for a nasal spray, we created really simple characters and turned the product into fun colourful vehicles. The viral has already seen 56,000 hits in its first week.
And finally this week we’ve been working on some low polly characters, low poly around our office are words you don’t often hear, but this week saw us complete some character for an upcoming Unity Christmas game. Characters are rigged and ready for Santa and just on a 1000 polys!!
